Words Worth Knowing: Bundle

Words Worth Knowing was a vertical I wrote weekly explaining key pieces of gaming jargon to parents, guardians and teachers, as part of the larger overall GameHub outreach effort. The column ran for nearly two years and resulted in around 60 WWK articles. GameHubHQ.com closed in late 2017. This piece originally appeared on Nov 14, 2016.

What It Is: Bundle = A package of games sold together.

What It Means: Bundling is a the term for multi-buys on games. The consumer receives multiple games in one purchase for a reduced price.

Why You Care: Bundling is a great way to get lots of games for a reduced price. Games bundles allow players to make big savings, and encourage them to try new titles they might not otherwise have bought. We recommend bundling deals as a good way to save money, particularly around festive holidays.
